Leah J. Wiggins started eVision, LLC in 2004. Her company has published dozens of pieces for other authors. She has also written and self-published two children’s books, My Neighbor is Gone and Why Do You Sing? under the name of Leah Holder Wiggins. She has reached thousands of people encouraging business ownership and leading creative writing workshops. She has also mentored student entrepreneurs.
Leah is owner of Leah Wiggins Agency of Farmers Insurance, a business she started in 2009. She and her team serve individuals, families, churches, and business owners by finding the best plans to protect their assets and build wealth. Leah is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), Alabama Chapter. She has the Financial Services Certified Professional (FSCP©) and the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF©) professional designations through The American College of Financial Services.
Leah received the Farmers® Blue Vase Award for her agency’s milestone of providing life insurance protection for clients in a record time of agency establishment. She has twice been named a Farmers® Championship Qualifier (top 3% in the company). She also has been named Topper Club Qualifier, Agent of the Year, and Top Specialty Agent for District 09 (twice). She regularly receives the Farmers® New Business and Profitability awards. Leah was recently named the NAIFA Alabama Top Advisor.
Leah collaborates with real estate industry executives to lead homeownership and wealth-building seminars. She also leads seminars on Asset Protection and Building Wealth. Leah is the Co-Founder and Chairman of the CEAF Financial Empowerment Conference which began in 2013.
Leah was named the Tri-County (AL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated 2019 MODEL Citizen Honoree for “National Trends and Services”, Birmingham Magazine’s Best Insurance Agent. She has been recognized in Who’s Who in Black Alabama; named Shero by The Birmingham Times, received the Juanita Sims Doty Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the Brenda Gardner Leadership & Achievement Award. She is a Life Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® and South Eastern Representative to the International Connection and Social Action Committee. She is past president of Omicron Omega Chapter, and past Chairman of the South Eastern Region Webinar Support Committee.
Additionally, she gives her time and money in the community through Board of Directors leadership for various civic and business organizations including the Alabama Sickle Cell Oversight and Regulatory Commission, Grace Browning Unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians, and the Birmingham Urban League.
